Award-winning folk singer, songwriter Lily Henley performs original songs and traditional Sephardic Jewish ballads with new melodies, reviving an endangered tradition of joy and sorrow.
Her music blends diverse influences to showcase the history and culture of her Sephardic ancestors, exploring themes
of transience and exile. Her album Oras Dezaoradas combines ancient and modern languages sharing the hopes and stories of Sephardic life. A Fulbright awardee, Henley has performed at Carnegie Hall and collaborated with Grammy winners. She sings this concert with folk artist Duncan Wickel.
