Jacob Daniels, Assistant Director of the Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies at the
University of Texas at Austin, published a remarkable book about the history of Edirne’s
Jewish community. A skilled historian and gifted storyteller, Daniels will share his literary
adventure revealing how this Sephardic community at the crossroads of civilization
managed a constant change of borders, governments and social status.
